Personal Statement
Self-shooting senior development producer with experience writing commissioner-ready treatments, developing and producing TV pilots, in addition to shooting and editing sizzle tapes. I am constantly coming up with ideas drawn from the people I meet, the books I read and the content I watch and I hope to use my skills to help create the factual entertainment formats of the future.

Student Credits

Producer, Against All Odds, NFTS (Jan – Dec 2016) – currently optioned by betty, won Best Unscripted Pilot award at the New York TV Festival 2017
Developed original game show format, undertook all pre-production inc. casting, negotiating access, sourcing experts, compiling risk assessments, briefing cast and crew. Also managed crew of 16 on location in the Lake District with ambitious sequences inc. abseil down waterfall and mountain trek up Helvellyn. Produced post-production pipeline – offline, online, track-lay and mix.

 Multi-Camera Director, Outside the Box, NFTS (Sept – Nov 2015)
Directed live 45-minute magazine show from gallery inc. busked music and interview sequences, created multi-camera script with camera plans and led TPM. Also shot and edited VTs.

Helped producer in gallery, managing continuity and script revisions.

Managed contestants, directed judges’ commentary and interviewed contestants.

Developed and produced half-hour studio breakfast show, wrote presenter script on Adobe Story, cast contributors, managed schedules and budget, ensured all risk assessments and documentation was in place and managed crew of 20 in a multi-camera studio.

Whilst at the NFTS, helped found Women in Film and TV society to help female professionals network within the industry and balance a successful career.

Commercial filmmaker, ThwackMedia (June 2009 – December 2014)
Made commissioned commercial films for Swag Bag, the Harrogate Flower Show, Tough Guy, my school and university.

Head of Features, Palatinate TV (Sept 2010 – July 2012)
Founding member of the university TV station. I shot and presented feature documentaries on subjects such as Klute, the Harry Potter module, Facebook and the student protests.
